Contributing to the Campaign

Your donation allows to produce campaign materials like mailers and yard signs and to run advertisements. Together, we will demonstrate to the county and city councillors who have allowed or encouraged ALPR cameras to proliferate under their watch that the people of Greenville County are prepared to deny them the funds they need to run their surveillance state.

While we work on setting up online donations, please mail checks to

Free Greenville
PO Box 6004
Greenville, SC 29606

If Greenville County and the cities of Greenville, Mauldin, Simpsonville and Travelers Rest all ban ALPR cameras before the November 3 election, Free Greenville will have no basis to continue its campaign. In this event, remaining funds will be returned to donors in proportion to their donation. Please include sufficient contact information to allow us to return unused funds to you. Funds that cannot be returned will be donated to the SC Children's Trust Fund or other charity of the committee's choice, as practical.

Privacy and Reporting

Free Greenville is a ballot measure committee (BMC) established under SC 8-13-1300 and operating in light of S.C. Citizens for Life v. Krawcheck, which removed most state filing requirements for BMCs. Unlike a Political Action Committee supporting a candidate, your donation to Free Greenville will not be publicly reported, and there is no limit on your donation. Free Greenville is operated by a professional IT administrator who respects your privacy and will store your data as securely as possible. We will never sell your contact or payment information, and we will never share it with any 3rd party without your explicit consent.
